King’s College today announced that 2025 marked a record-breaking year of fundraising, with approximately $16 million committed to advance the College’s mission after a three-year average of $7.5 million in philanthropic support.

“This record-breaking support is a testament to King’s positive impact on our students, alumni, families, friends, staff and faculty,” said King’s College president Rev. Thomas P. Looney, C.S.C., Ph.D. “We are deeply grateful to every donor whose generosity is transforming hearts and minds at King’s while advancing our mission to pursue excellence in teaching, learning, and scholarship.”

This year included major investments to the College’s efforts to help students reach their full potential, from new scholarships that support first generation students to extensive redevelopment projects at the Frank & Carolyn Kowalski Center for Advanced Healthcare Education and the Student Success Center in the D. Corgan Library.

King’s College set records for the annual giving campaign, raising over $1.7 million to support the KC Fund, the Monarch Athletics Fund, and various capital projects. The college also received over $4 million in estate gifts and was awarded more than $4.1 million in public and private grants.

Noyce Grants Robotics Event
The College's grant awards make possible events like the October 2025 Technology Exploration and Expansion for Noyce Scholars Institute, a networking and professional development workshop that welcomed dozens of educators from Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey to learn how to bring robotics into their classrooms and make STEM accessible for students of all backgrounds.

Those figures were made possible with the addition of new premiere events, such as the inaugural Red and Gold Gala that raised more than $250,000 in unrestricted support. The College also welcomed the inaugural gathering of its new Chairman’s Society, an elite recognition for benefactors who surpassed $1 million in lifetime giving.

“Every gift—regardless of size—represents your belief in the mission, vision and values of this great institution,” said Greg Morgan, vice president for Institutional Advancement. “We are so appreciative of our donors for their loyal support, allowing our students opportunities they might not have had otherwise and fostering another generation of successful and proud King’s College alumni.”
